That TA22 was pretty nice, but Canberra has a strong Celica following and some absolutely incredible cars, so you really do need a reality check when you park with such good company.

2 years ago I just invested quite a lot getting the brakes and suspension refreshed in anticipation for getting it back on the road (Sold my old daily to fund it); just bought the other GZE then etc. So sure you probably could have bought it then but it's had more spent since then getting it to the standard it is today, so probably better off you bought your car anyway.
I've been fortunate enough to find such a clean and tidy shell with everything else there, but it's never had a huge amount of love for anything that's perishable, so for a 30yr old car running a lot of stock stuff, it drove okay but now the aim has been to make sure nothing else needs to be done for years to come.

You have a very nice adub Michael! It was good to meet you at Toy Nats. 

Same with your Sdub! Hope it doesn't cost you too much money and grief getting yours sorted post wombat.

Ad expired but literally days before it did I finally had an enquiry from a lad who's keen as mustard to have his hands on it. Just waiting until he's available to make the trip to Canberra. The kind of buyer I was hoping for too.
 
Unless circumstances change, this is probably a farewell, but not goodbye; still have a special place reserved for AW11's and MR2's, pity my garage space doesn't reflect it, but I have my fast family hauler (2012 STi that's far from stock) and my BRZ is just as fun as it's always been, I don't even want to mod it!

Yep it sold and owner in Sydney has been notified of forums and social media. Not sure how active he will be this year but his plans were historic rego next year (I calculate a May/June build but import papers say September, so Sep. 2017 will be eligible) as well as possible C160 manual conversion.
