Sunday 24 June - Toyota Car Club of Australia Vic (TCCAV) is hosting their inaugural Winterfest.
Where: Carribean Gardens Scoresby.
9am to 1pm, just rock up at 9 and park in with the Toyotas. $2.50 to get in and gold coin donation to TCCAV.

Their website - http://www.tccav.org.au/?page_id=842

Some of the Vic MR2 Club members will be displaying their cars, and we would welcome any non-club member MR2 owners to also come along, park with us and talk MR2's.

Should be some other interesting Toyotas there too.

Steve I'm not sure how many MR2's will roll up.
At this stage I know of two or three others beside myself.
I intend to get there about 9.30 am, but I am told it is a fairly low key event and you can arrive when ever you like.
Apparently this is the first one of these the Toyota Car Club has organized, and is also a swap meet as well.

Ah, so that one was yours, but it wasn't that bad considering it's age.  I was there with my red SW20 parked up the back row.
It seems the organizers got about three times as many cars than they expected, and was apparently a great success with a  large variety of Toyota models, and it was my first chance to check out the new FT86's.
I was surprised to see that they have a full size spare wheel tucked away in the boot.

Yes, about 100 people said they were coming, but given the weather and cold the club expected 50-60 to turn up.  In there end there was about 110 cars.  An excellent turnout and proof of the growing interest in the cars.

Cheers,
Brett.
