New Shoes .  Have the fronts as well, but they need new rubber first.
Thanks Dudeman

Very happy with my new wheels & tyres on the rear.  Felt good on the freeway.  That extra 3cm of rubber on each side has made such a difference.  She feels more stable, no where near as much body roll around the corners that I drive on all the time.  Felt secure on the wet road last night, except for a tiny spin taking off from one set of lights.  I didn't plant the foot any harder than I usually do.
Will be going to tyre place this afternoon to see about the front tyres.

'A Man in Dandism New Rich and Sports'
The interpretation is not what many people think it means.

Hmm, I think they are drawing a very long bow to try and link 'dandism' to a 3rd Dan.
Here's the wikipedia definition of 'Dandy ~ Dandyism' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dandy

"A dandy[1] (also known as a beau or gallant[2]) is a man who places particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and leisurely hobbies, pursued with the appearance of nonchalance in a cult of Self.[3] Historically, especially in late 18th- and early 19th-century Britain, a dandy, who was self-made, often strove to imitate an aristocratic lifestyle despite coming from a middle-class background".

I think that this translates with the use of Japlish to our 'Dandism' Don't we place importance on the physical appearance of the car, enjoy its refined language and use it as a leisurely hobby? We can imitate that aristocratic lifestyle of the ferrari despite our middle class backgrounds.

That other US post is just that persons wishful thinking, and a load of bollocks.

The pizza shop man will be pleased he can have his pizza cutters back. Spun the wheels? Oh yeah, Toyota wheels add a 15% increase in power….

Ok, knowing that I'm not a hoon.  Thoughts on tyres.  Staying with 195/55
Went to Argy Tyres in Broadmeadow today.  They've said either Faulken ZE912 $119.00 or Pirelli P1 $159.00
They said Faulken's are good, but the Pirelli is better.

Sitting here typing this & texting a couple of ppl, think I've decided, but other opinion is sometimes good too

I recently fitted Pirelli P1s all round on my wife's Merc and can't fault them. Very grippy (255/35/18 though) and quiet.

A couple of people recommended Bridgestone RE002.  Even though their website has Bridgestone on it, they don't usually stock them any more.  They will do them for $169, so I've decided to go that way.
