Jay, I thought there may have been an issue with security at the Olympic Park site.
I had a thought of using the shopping centre carpark at Rhodes. There is two hour free parking, plenty of light and only across the road from the current location. Could even be warmer on a winter's night!
At any rate, was just looking for a way to eliminate standing in the dark.
Myself, I will get down there next month as I am away as of tomorrow morning.

Rhodes shopping centre is probably worse than Olympic Park for us haha, we have had meets there previously and things went a bit silly

Unfortunately agree, a few various crowds have tried meets @ Rhodes shopping centre, was even less successful.
 
Will endeavour to come Wednesday night as it's been a while (now back from o/s).

If we were going to 'permanently' change meeting locations in the future, why not just use the current wet-weather location (Auburn Reading Cinema carpark) for every meet?
Let's just see what happens with lighting at Brays Bay first though.

Readings isn't a great idea for a regular meet as it's a privately owned car park, which is why we only use it when needed on the odd occasion (same goes for all shopping centres).
 
We're getting a bit ahead of ourselves anyway, will see how the regular location goes this week; I've got a couple of other options in mind for alternate locations if we need to change things up going forward.

Plenty of space by the Orange Groove Krispy Kreme / Harry De Wheels.

Some benefit from the poor light - Jaemus managed to work his charms on the lone female attendee using his personality. It was all too late when she saw him in daylight! (Only kidding!!) 

Its true. Darkness is the best for picking up chicks man ;)

Also just to throw in my 2 cents, the office works Carpark on Parramatta rd Auburn just after the Hungry jacks is open till very late and sometimes never even closed. Drift RC guys have a meet in there every month at like 6 or 7 and they've been going for years without any issues :)

Unfortunately I will be giving this month a miss due to work.
