The exhaust is a bit out of my money reach bit for curiosity how much for an exhaust?

Fujitsubo Super Ex headers are a bit expensive new unless you can pick up secondhand set, but for a Gen2 3SGE they're a good way to go if you can afford them.  
Apart from an increase in power and a great exhaust sound, I found they also give you a lot more clearance under the pipes if you want to fit a sandwich plate for gauge senders, and much easier access to the oil filter.

What kind of cash are they worth?

In the last 2 years I have seen a couple of sets go for around  $600 second hand including the pipes out to the cat.
These are a very well made all stainless superior design compared to stock, and work well with a high flow cat and cat back.

Ohh really that's great I have the hi flo cat and cutback just after a set of headers now :)

Are you able to get a dump pipe with 3" vband?

Yes it is possible but that would be a custom order.
