I'll put it up for sale once the new one has been fitted and fully tested. Do you want to buy it?

Looking great mate. Just remember, when you can't make any more power without sacrificing too much lag, there is always boosted 2GR life.

There is no lag when you are at WOT for most of the time 👍😎

The exhaust housing of my new turbo is getting ceramic coated at the moment, so while I can't work on installing the new turbo, I am instead installing coil on plugs.
I am retaining the triggering from the distributor instead of adding a sensor on the crankshaft. If it aint broke, don't fix it! It also makes it much easier. All I need to do is wire in the COPs to the ECU and change one setting to enable direct fire. Many thanks to RobK for his guidance.
I figure that I will need coil on plugs to handle the higher power level that the bigger turbo will deliver, so it makes sense to do it now. The next weak link may be the fuel system, though I am going to see how it goes on the dyno before I make any changes there.
The aluminium bracket came from the USA, so I now have three 11mm head nuts on my car. #facepalm #merca
🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😢
