Out of curiousity - is there anything else needed for this kit to work effectively if one was to have a front mounted h/e and run new lines front to back with keeping the a/c in place?

im not too sure there is enough room up front to keep the a/c with any heat exchanger, someone may have fitted one in, but even without a/c mine was a tight fit

yeah he has but if you search for pics of his car with a front bar on, he has a phoenix kit which sticks out further forward then the stock bar, i had a few issues with the stock bar going back on as there are vertical parts near the centre of the bar it kept hitting

I fitted a type 100 heat exchanger in the front with a/c. Did require a bit of work but not that hard. I dont have any photos of it yet

the filler/cap would be needed to place in a high point in the system to make it easy to fill. The barbs with the required threads seem to be hard to source locally (and much more pricey), so buy the ones you need.

awesome cheers for all the info guys been wanting to do this upgrade as my intake temps are a bit too high, but all in due time I guess as I still have to get my new turbo and some more $$$ first.
looks like it will take a bit of work, but it'd definitely be worth putting in the time and doing it right from the start. yeah wouldn't mind have a look at your setup sometime pat if you don't mind!

Can be done still having AC but custom work
My old air con radiator with the brackets made to hold the A/W radiator. Used factory bolts to hold the brackets.

BTW thats my old radiator that i kept so as to use it for measurements

Its going between the windshield water resivour and bumper bar up front.
only drill holes ill be doing , tapped threads...........

See those 2 little screws , they hold the guts of the radiator and go all the way through . In actual fact they have still about 5 mm of travel on the back My brackets are 4 mm thick with the section where the screw is rebated down to 2 mm

Here is the water hose i got made that joins the Radiator to the pump and aluminium pipes for the A/W intercooler set up

Just FYI
Ihave the jigs for the front hoses as its one big one cut in 2 and wouldn't be more than $80 , just need the same intercooler set up ( mine is a Rogues one , but im sure that PWR could copy it )
and the 2 pain lines in aluminium , the bender still has the drawing but you need all the brackets.

BUT as you said it took a long time and im still not finished.
