Yeah it's pretty tight, but only because I went for the large heat exchanger. Had to remove the A/C.
I think it fits better in the front of an SW20 but don't quote me on that, lol
I used 3/4" annealed copper pipe and 3/4" heater hose to connect it all. To be honest, bending the pipes into shape was a huge pain in the a** and I never want to do it again in my life! Better to go with braided hose if you can afford it, or even just heater hose for the whole setup but I'm not sure if that's a great idea.
Mounting it in the front is definitely better though. Ideally the heat exchanger should have as much surface area as possible with maximum airflow, even if the intercoooler is a small one.
