What's the reasoning behind wanting to sell the meisters?  They look mint on your car :)
I personally would keep them. I have a set of SSR SP1's and i can't help but smile everytime i walk to my car.  I'm sure you do the same, plus the colour suits your car so well :)

Haha, you're right. I do exactly the same. They are one of my all time favourite rims. I think the only reason I have been considering selling the rims is that selling the car has crossed my mind a few times in the last couple of weeks. Selling the rims would be the first step in that direction for me. I still love driving it so no rash decisions any time soon, plus I haven't found anything that appeals to me more then my SW20.

This is now one of my new showroom favourites mostly because it's kept very close to stock and gold rims somehow look decent on MR2s. SW20s are hard to customise aesthetically, but it's just my bland tastes (relative to others) hehe

That's a bloody clean sw20 there mate! Speaking of S600's here's one that I see regularly competing in the vic hillclimb championship

Theres a couple of these that compete here but the white care runs a 4age and corolla driveline, while the red one still uses the original motor and drive line.

Thank you mate. I bought the car with the intention of keeping it close to stock as possible. I agree, I think the lines of the car are already great, I wouldn't change it.

Cheers! Oh nice! There are not many left on the road in QLD, and they are getting so hard to find. I bought mine with the intention of swapping out the motor for something more modern, but I ended up fixing up the original motor and then found myself unable to modify such a original car.  I remember the day I sold it; I had my wisdom teeth out and pulled stitches because I couldn't wipe the smile off my face at 9500rpm in 3rd gear as I was dropping it off to the temporary owner before it was shipped back to Japan.

I finally decided to roll on stock rims. It has been about 1 week and still getting use to how it looks. The good thing about stock rims is that they don't scrub and steering feels lighter. Haha. I might end up putting the Work Meisters back on the car, but in any case, it gave me a good chance to polish the lips and clean the inside of each rim. Sorry for the bad iPhone pics! Ps. I may take EOI for the rims.

Freshly polished lips, they still need more attention but look decent.

Joel why do you tempt me like this?
But I won't buy them just so you won't sell them so you have nothing to do but put them back on your car and NOT SELL IT!!

I noticed I haven't updated this thread in over a year... and well, nothing has changed.

I'm fighting the never ending battle to keep the red paint looking decent. It looks amazing for a month or two then slowing starts dulling down. I have been using a Poorboy's polish and Poorboy's sealant with decent results by hand but wouldn't mind trying another brand, any recommendations on some good products? Mechanically the car is running great, I'm now at 173k km so I will have to put it in for another good check over soon.  My main goal now is to continue to keep the car clean and tidy.

Here is a pic from the recent QLD MR2 club run.
