We are at that time of year to review my fuel economy for 2018. I have now logged each fill up for the last 3 years.
My 2018 average L/100km reduced to 9.21 L/100km from 9.24 L/100km in 2017. I participated in 1 track session which was my worst fuel economy of the year at 21.12 L/100km. If I remove the track day I'm back to 8.97 L/100km which was the same as last year without the track sessions.
My best economy for 2018 was recorded at 7.00 L/100km.
Total travel distance travelled in 2018 was 16389.1km, reduction of 1246.2km on 2017.
Most expensive $ per L was on the 16-10-2018 and was at $1.839 which was $0.15 up on 2017. Cheapest 24-12-18 at $1.359. The average cost of petrol for me was $1.561 which was an increase of $0.095 from the 2017 average.
I drove 1246.2km less, had a reduction in petrol consumption by 139.36L but only reduced my petrol costs by $56.77 on last year.
