I kinda like your idea but I think I'd add a top plate with a semicircle in it, kinda like this _/\_ to locate the hose.

Mine seems to be supported well but I can't help but think there is some added stress on the hardline.

My earlier revisions had the plastic wrapping around the hose so it was a snug fit. I will find the photos.

New wheels and tyres purchased. Tyres are Toyo R888R 195/55/15 and 225/50/15, ordered from Demon Tweeks UK, arrived within 10 days. Got them mounted on stock 15" rims today.

4 stock 15" rims fit perfectly into the boot.

Whipped up a quick aluminium strip to assist holding up the under body plastic. 2 of the 3 bolt sections had broken away. Works a treat. Thanks Doug for the tip at the tech day :D!

Looking good! Bet you can't wait to put some k's on that rubber.

I think my underbody plastic is the same. I'll be stealing that trick when it comes time to bolt it back on.

Make sure you're careful for the first 300km or so! It takes a little while for the T1-R's to lose their shine and get to full grip levels. I've found that once they have, they're a great tyre for everyday driving.

Glad to see you found a decent set of stockies. New tyres will look tough once they're on

The temptation has been there to just throw them on and run them daily to work. I will put them on prob end of the week so I can get a feel for the tyres before the club event on Saturday.

I have been looking at the T1R to replace the Falken ZE912 that I have on mine at the moment. You warning has been duly noted!

Here is that photo. You can see my progression. First one was quite chunky and held the screw piece past the hard line, which wouldn't work. Second one was slimmed down and I offset the clamp part for the connection to the hard line. Third was the final design with the zip ties. I felt this design gave the best hold on the line to eliminate any movement and it was a lot easier to print.

The marvels of modern technology! Good work, definitely looks the part

Still need to get around to installing my braided lines - still considering hitting you up for the brackets, may look at P-clamps as well as 5SGTE suggested
