My front lip had some hairline patches that existed for some time, one scrape coming off the truck when it was delivered and the sealing putty hidden by three layers of paint finally gave up the ghost.

It's repairable, but I don't love the two piece lip, so it would be an excuse to replace it with something a little hardier.

Camposites has the Buddy Lip on sale at the moment and it looks like a pretty easy bolt in replacement.

What's everyone's thoughts?

I'd always go with something that has a similar material to the factory lip, never a nice feeling when your nice fibreglass lip hits a bit of debris or you misjudge the height of a gutter.

Got a link to the buddy lip?

If I could find a solid plastic single piece I would.

I think Woodsport used to make one but don't think they do anymore (certainly not $300aus delivered)

I run the Aeroware on my SW20, it's polymer so it can handle some abuse but its terrible to paint and has really limited my ground clearance on many driveways, they look great though. I say go for it and learn to overcome any drive-ability issues

Hi Rynex,

Did you end up buying? I have been looking at ordering a lip for my SW20 through them and was curious about how you have gone about it?

I haven't I think I will, but I'm working up to it.

It's one of those lower priority things that I want rather than need, and there's things like a really aged and shoddy steering wheel that by all rights should take priority, plus the question of whether to repair or replace the wheels on the car, and of course finally finishing the (admittedly minimal) tasks required for roadworthy.

I'll be honest, I'm using the cold as a pretty big excuse as to why I've done next to nothing in this last 3 weeks, it's bee ~4°c in my garage.
