I ordered the wilhelm kit, parts are backordered atm so will be a while before it arrives. The quick home alignment made it feel like a different car.

Nice! I'll be ordering mine soon, keen to hear your results even though the kit speaks for itself

Started to struggle to get over 60 degrees, checked the thermostat and torn diaphragm. Also tridon(everywhere) has the wrong part listed for gen4 thermostats which I found out the hard way. I assume the listing is the earlier gens.

What's the width of your actual thermostat?
Any luck on finding the correct one?

63mm, found and ordered a genuine. Just have to wait for it to arrive.

Geo kit arrived and quickly installed the fronts. Turns out one front hub must have had a stripped bolt and has been tapped to a larger thread. So will need to probably drill out the rca to take the bigger bolt as no chance of getting a nut on the other side. Everything in the kit seems to be really nice quality and so far has gone in no worries. Will be getting the rear in over the weekend I hope.

Have you managed to get the rear kit in yet?

Had all sorts of pain getting the rear in. Tried to use gear pullers and bolts etc to pull the spherical bearing out so I didnt have to take the hub out. After many snapped bolts and the bush remaining, I pulled the hubs and used a mates press. Will be putting them back in tomorrow with any luck.

Kind of a win today, kit is in. Round the block test and the left cv decided to come out of the box as it must have dislodged a little refitting the hubs. Also looked like I had just enough clearance for the wheels but once it all settled and drove the lower balljoint nut rubs the wheel. So will need a pair of 17s for the rear by the looks....

Well that's not what I wanted to hear haha. My kit is on the way and was hoping I'd be able to press the bearing out without removing hubs. Glad to hear you got it on, unfortunate about the little mishaps, time for wheel shopping!
