Yeah yeah, so you spent three times what some others do on a motor. Quit dick-swinging, it’s not a good look.

In other news, Lol now are awesome at running all manner of stock ancillaries just by using some of the spare I/O ports they have. You can have proper chargecooling AND run A/C, easy as. Might cost a bit of room for hoses and whatnot, but it’s perfectly doable. :)

Now have a Links G4 with a links temp sensor and a Links 4 bar map sensor.
Now need to book a time for a tune. I will ad 4 EGT sensor later on when budgets allows.
 

Installed some new blue high temp hoses.

I pulled the motor out again. Only had 110 to 120psi compression due to over heated motor saga I had. Need to buy Piston rings looking at summit racing US. They have gapless top rings 86.7mm bore, I may do this not sure, at this stage. Need Apex 1.2 head gasket ect. I'm not going E85 now. Looking at upgrading current Garrett gt2860 Diso Potato to the Gen II version which is good for 450hp with same low rpm spool up. I have an enlarged 3sgte side feed rail in the shed waiting. Then I need Min 650cc or 800cc Fuel injectors, not sure. Thinking of buying a Stage 3 lighten flywheel and pressure plate from the US, as I already have six puck clutch which I used in the standard flywheel and pressure plate, but it slip at at high RPM launches. Would like to put upgraded cams 264deg or a 3gte gen 3 cams if anyone got some let me know. This is not going to be a circuit car, But it will see the track. I will port polish the head as well.

Pull pistons out. It look like I need new pistons as well. Not happy.

Block out and striped ready for the machine shop they machine out to 87.07 mm with a torque plate, Then order new 87mm Wiseco pistons ands rings.

It's more normal practise to take all pistons to machine shop with all piston manufacturers specifications as to their recommendations for clearances and have each bore done for each piston.

Was doing the honing myself as I was hoping all I will need is rings, but after removing some metal of the bore to remove damage, I'm longer within tolerance with the old pistons. So it is now at Advanced Engine Reconditioning here in Adelaide.   Having Torque plate honing over sized to fit new 87mm piston. Which now have to buy. Looking at 4 to 5 thou tolerance. I'm also looking for clutch to handle 450hp looked at the US company XTD after reading some reviews, not sure if it is the best way to go.

Some porting work on a 3sgte head. I not doing a mirror polish as it a port injection head. If it was direct injection I would do Mirror polish.
