Power looks about right, compared to the last club dyno session we did, back in .... <DRUM ROLL> ..... December 2000!!!!
Here are the results from that day, At Tim Slako's dyno, figures are rear wheel KW. I know absolute figures for dynos vary but it will give people an idea of relative % differences for various cars (which should be comparable regardless of absolute numbers).
AW11 NA - 57kW stock
AW11 NA - 59kW muffler
94 SW20 NA - 93kW stock - tuned for 98 octane from memory
92 SW20 Turbo - 119kW stock
95 SW20 Turbo - 126kW muffler
90 SW20 Turbo - 140kW free flow exhaust, 1 bar boost, high flow turbo
We did have another dyno session also at Slako's where we had more cars, including Tristan's early 3SGTE beast that made about double the power of stock-ish versions. I still remember the cherry red glow of the turbo and manifold after the run. mmmm... toasty goodness. I also did 2 runs in my car on normal and fail safe low boost (Gen2) to see what the power difference was, cant recall the result unfortunately.
