Just some times from last weekend.
Wakefield: Worn out Hoosiers R6's with one rear tyre wall cracked all the way around, poor alignment, too much rear bias. Porsche GT3 Cup car was running 67's all day. We were running 68-69's.
WTAC: New Kuhmo's(finally)rear bias problems still and numerous other issues with handling, driving lines etc and limited time on track. 1.49.7.

Dropped 2 seceonds off my P.B. at Symmons Plains yesterday 1:05.16
No changes to the car, Ambient air temp lower and drift boys on track on Saturday laying some rubber down for us :)

Here is a link to footage at Wakefield Park. Lap times were ok with plenty of potential. I was quicker than the EVO's that were there that day so that was a treat!!

Nice! I've never been to Wakefield, so it's awesome to see a video which shows what the track is like. Also, now I can see what people mean when they say that there are no walls anywhere near the track!
There were some good spins in there too, I'm glad you included a mistakes section

i ran my sw20 for the first time yesterday around wakefeild my best time was 1:32 in the wet the car is completly stock and ive only owned it for about 4 weeks not the best time i could of done but it was my first time around the track and the MR2 is soo much diffrent from driving my old little civic lol

i cant wait to run it agiain hopefully next month in the dry with a few mods and see how it goes :D

No worries Rob! Had a laugh with a few friends watching the vid last week! I did get sick of the spins in the end. The car was that bad I was expecting to have a spin on every corner.. It can only improve as will my driving.

So your first day on track in a MR2 was on a wet day. That would have been quite a challenge. When are you heading back to Wakefield?

yeh the rain was on and off all day but we didnt start our timed runs till after 1 because it was a private day we wanted to take passengers for the first half of the day then do the timed sesions after that but unfortently the rain came poring down

yeh was quite difficult i had the ar spin out on me a few times

next time we head down will be Dec 6th :) let the preperation begin

what tyres were you using? how did you find the seating and seatbelt situation?
