I knew I would probably forget someone, it happens every time you thank people. Mark reminded me that we also owe the success of the 30th Anniversary Event to Bryan Dimuaunahan whose support and continued posting on our web site and on FaceBook added to the success, and to the large number of MR2s that attended. Thanks Bryan.

And the acknowledgements continue ....... A great big thank you to our esteemed VIC MR2 Club Editor, Ian Morrison who endlessly promoted the 30th Anniversary Event on this Forum. Thankyou! I'm sure that Ian's efforts resulted in us smashing our record also!

Don't Forget Joel the NSW Club president, I think he and his missus aussiespyder were the furthest travelled to get there.

Anyone travel further for the event?

Unfortunately the only way I was going to have my car there for the event was a case of redbull non stop driving at undisclosed speeds to be there an back to work today or the $2370 car return transport fees.. Yes I did get a quote to consider haha
Was well worth the flight down meet some Vic members and check out some sweet looking MR2's given me some ideas :-? was well organised.. Hopefully the 2015 MR2 nationals in Qld attracts as large turnout :-)

There was a fair few looking towards sewing your car in the flesh. Should have got someone to drive it down tleast. Someone you can trust 100% of course

MR2 30th Anniversary Meet, Sunday 22 June.

Again, thankyou all for turning up, I still cannot believe the beautiful day we had after this week's shocking weather!!!!

NOW .... we would like to put names to MR2s.

Could you please PM me your name and reg number for our records. I have all the VIC members, but not the others. Thanks!

BTW ..... The official count (by number plate in photos) is 92. The unofficial number is 94. There was an AW11 parked out of sight because, according to the owner, "it was too rough to bring in." And another green ZZW30 that drove past without coming in. Many people saw both cars.
