How many mr2's are you expecting?

We are not sure, but we have been heavily publicizing this event at every opportunity.
We'll just have to wait and see how many turn up.
 
The Australian record for MR2's parked in one place is 65 cars.(See pic)
That was in 2004 at the 20th anniversary event, so it would be great if we could equal or break that record.

We have had great coverage in the Drive section of the Herald-Sun and from all the emails and the replies on the FaceBook event (53 ticked coming) and the 6 from NSW, a couple from QLD, a couple from ACT, and one from SA plus most of the VIC members I think we will smash the record for the most MR2s in one place in the Southern Hemisphere.
 
I dropped off all the "stuff" today and the area we have is FANTASTIC!!!!  even Melbourne's weather forcast is looking good http://www.bom.gov.au/vic/forecasts/melbourne.shtml

Is it just park where you can when you get there or are you going to try for colour/year/model arrangement?

We'll try to control parking by model. We're hoping loads of lurkers rock up!! Also hoping MR2 owners not on this Forum or members of the MR2 Club have read or been told about it and turn up also.

Being one of the "lurkers" who just got an sw20 last weekend, i will be attending the event. I feel it would be a great to speak to a few people who know a bit more than me about these cars.
