2GR V6 Spyder race car in preparation

have posted pics of the custom mounts on our facebook page. will have subframe modified in enxt couple of weeks. gearbox and axles come next

we have had the engine and gearbox in and out a few times, getting everything 'right", especially the mounts. we are now happy we can supply a kit of mounts for the DIY conversion. we have made this so you can sue all the factory rubber mounts , or of course, you can up-rate them with our heavy duty rubber versions. we don't yet have a conversion for the drivers side oil-filled mount, but that wont  be hard if it proves necessary. 
 
the front headers fit best if the subframe rail in the body is modified ever so slightly. it gives the pipe a bit more room .
 
currently working on modified axles including a 5 stud conversion for the back

anyone contemplating this conversion in Australia will need a big tin of brave pills when it comes to getting the car engineered for road use. several of the jobs like cutting sub-frames are well outside the scope of simple mods approval, so it needs a full engineering assessment.  not hard for us, but not cheap!
