SOLD:: NSW 10/1992 Toyota Mr2 $7850 ONO HEAPS OF WORK DONE


my Toyota Mr2 is up for sale, Australia delivered

176200kms

Rego Expires: 22/11/14

Vehicle Info:
I am the 3rd owner of this gem.

Has working cruise control fitted from standard,
And factory fitted abs brakes

This car is in immaculate condition for it's age;
Only has 2/3 very minor hailstone marks very easily fixed
This car has been meticulously cared for by mr2 enthusiast I also work at Toyota in parts so my car has always been given genuine replacement parts.
Comes with original service and owners manual
And genuine tool kit with all tools accounted for

Engine:
Stock gen 2 3sge 2.0L twin cam 121kw
-has 180psi compression across all four cylinders
- has had a 2.5" stainless exhaust system from the flex joint back with a hi flow metal car put on it, as the old exhaust was all rusted out, has a very nice tone without being to loud done in July last year
- has had a secret weapon R full intake system put on to replace the pod filter I brought it with
- brand new genuine coil,igniter,fuel filter, dizzy cap and rotor, VERY VERY rare TRD genuine ignition leads (took me months to find and many phone calls), brand new oxygen sensor, intake air temp sensor,brand new genuine Toyota red coolant and thermostat all the above done 6 months ago as part if the major service I gave it just to refresh everything for such an old car

- brand new timing belt, tensioners and idler pulleys replaced at 169xxxkms along with the water pump, cam and crank seals

- new exedy hd sports tuff clutch kit and flywheel machine and clutch slave cylinder installed at 173xxxkms as well as a new genuine rear main seal and drive shaft seals. Feels like a stock clutch but provides higher clamp force

- new brass shifter bushings

- sump resealed and alternator belt replaced about a month ago.


- oil changed every 5000kms no exceptions using royal purple full synthetic oil 10/40 and a Toyota genuine oil filter.

-gearbox oil replaced at 173xxx same time as clutch using Amsoil 75/90 full synthetic gear oil

Suspension and brakes:

- brand new BC BR coilovers installed and properly set up by my suspension specialist
(1400$) lowered to a legal but sporty height.

- brand new genuine ball joints installed all round

- brand new rack ends and toe rod ends installed

- 22mm front white line adjustable sway bar installed (handles extremely well) (450$)

- brand new slotted and dimpled rda front rotors and ebc redstuff front pads. (Has improved the braking immensly)

- full brake fluid flush done using motul hi boiling point fluid

Wheels and interior:
- 16/7 front and 16/8 rear super racing advan lightweight wheels

- 205/45/16 and 225/50/16 kumho ku31 tyres with less than 8000 kms on them

- genuine trd leather gear knob and rev 5 red stich leather gear boot

- deep dish seude steering wheel with genuine momo boss kit
-new kenwood head unit

- over all interior condition for age- extremely good only down point is the leather seats have seen better days so have car seat covers over them

There are no issues at all with this car
have spent copious amounts of time and money sorting these issues and repairing them.
It has been treated like a Ferrari, no expense spared
This would make an extremely good car for a first car as it has only two seats, the targa top DOES NOT leak, or even a perfect car for anyone as it needs zero work
Every servicible item has been replaced in the last 15/20xxx

Never thrashed or abused always allowed to warm up in the mornings have the most respect for this car

Also has engine immobiliser

Is washed weekly and waxed monthly using the best in car care products

SERVICE JUST CARRIED OUT at 176100kms using Royal purple 10/40W and a genuine TRD oil Filter.

    Thanks man! She has been lovingly looked after and restored.

    UPDATE
    New Delta V shift bushings purchased and wil be installed this week,
    Potential new CLutch kit and rear main + tappet cover gasket due to toyota warranty and the rear main failing ruining the clutch in it.
    New handbrake cable will be fitted to fix the one that broke on me last night pulling up to a set of lights.
