It has some minor rust and the dash is cracked though. Everything else is in very good condition.
I'm pretty happy. I'm going to get historic rego for it.

I have just come-by a red, July 1982 Celica auto, with 78,000 kms from new, one family owned.
Bought with a bad oil-leak from the front crank seal, but am hoping it has just been overfilled, as the dipstick was showing. Am now sorting that by an oil and filter change. Wow, the filter is hard to get-to!

Sounds like a great buy. Has it been garaged?

Yes, mostly garaged in the past, so the dashboard is OK. Seats good too, a bit worn but have always had sheepskin covers on, from new. Red paint is a bit faded, but am recommended to get it detailed/cut.
Just getting a RW list of faults. No details yet, but Tester in Box Hill, VIC. says by message it is only a few things. Oil leak seems to be sorted........by using correct oil, and filled just to correct level. Car was previously still being serviced by Brighton Toyota!!

She's nearly ready for registration. All of the rust is now gone.

Here's a photo from ToyotaFest. The car is slightly lowered, though not enough!

I got sick of it not being lowered today, so I lowered it.
It looks much better!
