Wanting to buy...

My son is now in possession of his Great Grandmothers 1993 Celica.   
He is trying to find a part for it called 'vacuum sensor/ map sensor....sits on fire wall, dead middle of car' (that's a quote from the mechanic...!)
Anyone have any idea where he could find one?  
We are not mechanically minded so please excuse the lack of knowledge!!
