building a turbo engine for sw20

Hi guys just thought id get some advise on a direction i have for building a turbo engine for my new sw20 that in doing up. i have already bought previously a gen 2 turbo motor with out turbo. Engine apparently runs but it down comp in No.4 cylinder, i suspect broken ring land as it was a high boos..

WTB or pls provide specs: SW20 mounting bolts for stock airbox

Morning folks, I'm reinstalling the stock air intake/air box in place of the pod mount I currently have. I have all the bits EXCEPT the three large bolts that mount through the bottom of the airbox, through the mounting plate onto the car. Does anyone in VIC have some I could buy, or can provide me ..

3SGTE exhaust manifold on 3SGE (gen 2)

Hey guys this is my first post, I'm wondering if the exhaust manifold from a 3SGTE will fit onto the 3SGE. I found a set of custom made headers cheap and hope this'll work as it'll save me a lot of $$$ having them custom made myself...

oil consumption / smoke diagnosis

Hi, my 1990 JDM 3SGTE has been using about 1L of oil every 500-1000km and I can now see some smoke in exhaust under hard acceleration that I wasn't aware of in the past. So no obvious smoke on start-up or idle. All of the plugs are dry. Any suggestions as to how to diagnose where the oil is coming f..

Exhaust idea.

Hi guys, This may be a silly question or idea, but after being at a mates place, and sussing out his wrx sti, he told me about his exhaust, he has a 3inch dump to a 3 inch cat exhaust into a 2.5 inch axel back into a 3 inch muffler back and going off his dyno results, he netted .1awkw in total power..
