Should my HDi electronic boost controller solenoid click continously?

Well I noticed recently now that my HDi electronic boost controller solenoid clicks rapid as soon as I turn the ignition key on but the car not started. It never did that before, it would normally click every second or 2 with the engine running.Is this normal or is something wrong with the unit?..

This weekend I started the reassembly of the short block. While putting the oil strainer (pickup) on, I noticed that it was bent out of shape. GSA for SMT

Just read this on a ebay site that was selling a GSA. Any thoughts? After any work is performed on the SMT system it must be fully bled and reset, then the relearn procedure must be performed. A Toyota dealer tool (or compatible TIS cable available for purchase on ebay) is required for this relearn...

Lowest settings but still boosting over 16psi

Hi all,I just had the workshop install the HDI dual electronic boost controller and even at the lowest setting in 3rd gear when I hit boost it goes to 16.5 psi.. What do you think it could be? heat soaked only after 2 hard pulls

Well I noticed the heat soaked with only 2 hard pulls. Just bolt on mods and ebay style side mount with racerx intercooler pipes. Whe ifirst drive it pulls hard and I hit 16 psi easy. By the time I do do 3rd pull it's heat soaked and I struggle to h 8 psi. Do people with side mounts hav this iss..

After more torque, is this the right mod?

I love the feeling of the sudden surge of power the car makes and I'm after more of that. While having more HP is great I'm after more torque...
