I assume the water bottle gives more boost due to cooling?   However i also assume not much point if you want to know what sort of boost/power you are getting during normal driving conditions?  Saturday is only forecast to be max 16 degrees.

awesome my last power was after 4 hours on the dyno in 30 degrees plus temps...

the water bottle is a great idea if it's allowed. as anyone with a side mount intercooler will have it heat soaked. I'm going to try and get there early and let the car sit with the engine bay open to try and let it cool as well...  have to be carefull to use a mist type spray as if water gets on the rollers it can cause all sorts of problems.

also check your tyre pressures as that will vary your results.

yeah the pressure sprayer ones from bunnings have the adjustable nozzle and can do a mist
its more so for anyone who has heatsoaked their cooler for whatever reason

btw is anyone who is going have a temp. probe in the throttle body to monitor intake temps??
it would be an awsome experiment if so to see by how much it drops after using the cooler spray.

cheers

hmmmm i could probably plug the laptop into mine and get a temp readout.... haven't plugged it in before but i guess it's easy enough to do.

Yo purple you can be my personal water sprayer - if it's a hot day cos I get sweaty. I prefer mountain breeze scent please. LOL
On a serious tone, does it matter if my tacho doesn't work? How does info from car go to dyno?
Thanks

inductive or or "timing light" RPM pick up... timing light works like a timing light. I think Inductive works on the HT lead or some such to count the nuber of times it fires??
