So I was planning to replace the clutch on my 1990 N/A MR2 but I adjusted it and now it doesn't slip any more.  The bad news is that the brakes are in pretty bad shape, pads are very low and the rotors are below minimum thickness.  So the question is which brake rotors to use.  Some sites show one rotor for all N/A and turbo models from 1990-99 but others show different rotors.  Which ones are mine?

Also, I was looking at doing the suspension bushes and shock absorbers. Any recommendations?  Are the bushes easy to do?  What dampers work well?  Any input appreciated.

One set of bushes needs a press to remove and fit, all others can be done with basic tools and hard work.

I buy my shocks/ bushes/ tie rods/ links/ ect from Twosrus.com but there are loads of places to find different options for your car if you google about. Make sure you have spring clamps or youl kill yourself when taking your suspension apart.

Do you know which set need a press to remove and fit?

I was looking at the Twosrus.com site, it looks like a good place to get parts but I presume the prices are in US$, does it take long to ship?

I was looking at this kit, it appears to have all of the available bushes:

I would prefer to keep the strut/spring setup rather than going coilover so I was looking at replacement struts, any recommendations?

I have used plain (not slotted) RDA rotors for many years with no probs.
They should be available off eBay.
I think the larger brakes actually came in late '91

IMO, for normal street use if your OEM rubber control arm bushes look OK, keep them.

With shocks there are several options available for inserts, but the best if you can afford them would be Koni yellow adjustables. (I assume that you have the gland nut struts)

Also, make sure you check stuff like ball joints and rod ends to compliment your new brakes, and shocks.
