For those that don't follow our Facebook page (get on there and like it already!) we posted the following update about the event the other day:

We are thrilled to announce that our good friends at Gorilla Industries have come on board as a sponsor for our 30th Anniversary event!

The boys have kindly donated a massive $150 voucher to be used towards the purchase of anything they sell, which will be drawn in a special raffle on the day for entrants in our Show and Shine!

Keep an eye out for more updates regarding the event soon, and make sure you let all your MR2 buddies know so we can make it as big as possible!

Looking forward to this event. The Adubs getting a few things installed and fixed up prior to this.

With just under two weeks to go to the event, we have some more information regarding the day to share.
 
Our trophies for the day are all ready to go, there will be 6 trophies up for grabs for the cars in the Show and Shine, with everyone having the opportunity to take one home. 
There will be two trophies for each generation of MR2 (AW11, SW20 & ZZW30), with a trophy for the best standard and best modified example of each.
 
The meetup location for our morning cruise will be Maliyawul Street in Lilyfield at 9:30am; this is a small street along the water next to Iron Cove, where we'll all meet and take some pics before we depart at approximately 10:00am for Al Palmers.

I can't wait for this event! :-D
 
Is anyone coming from VIC or QLD?

Not sure, would be great if some did though!

There are some guys that will hopefully make it from the ACT :)

Is there going to be some time for touch up detailing once we get to Al's?  To get rid of any bugs, etc that we may have encountered on the way down. 

There will be plenty of time Shaz, it will be very relaxed much like Al's Toyota shows so there won't be any sort of formal "your car must be ready at this time" sort of thing.
 
We're aiming for a very chilled afternoon, check out some nice cars, chat and meet some new people, have some food, with prizes and trophies given out at the end of the day.
