I think saying what kind of yokohama tyres are installed might help your case here

Well that one wheel shown on the bumtree ad is in very condition. It's always very difficult to judge how far down the tread has worn, as the tyre in those pics doesn't look 'too' far away from the tread wear indicator.
 
But then again, 80% of a tyre? Well, there's the sidewalls, the inner, the……….
