As part of my brake upgrade (as I'm sure most of you would have seen the other thread), I'm going to be deleting my ABS entirely from my car...

Just curious as to what I need to swap over since most of the lines will be different? I'm planning on either getting a MC of the 93+ variant or 4 Runner.

Has anyone had much to do with proportioning valves? From my research the earlier models differ from the later, and the N/A's differ again from the turbos... The turbo ones have a higher bias to the rear due to the extra weight.

I used a 4 Runner 1 inch master with a late model non ABS proportioning valve from the wreckers and made my own lines.

Yeah, I was doing some looking into making my own lines... Definitely an option, I'd have to go out and buy all the tools for it.

What year model 4 Runner?

I'm curious as to how the pedal would feel afterwards... Since I'm only using Gen3 calipers (and not Nissan 4 pots) I'm wondering whether it will be overkill, and I don't want the pedal too high (for ease of heel and toe-ing)

*edit* I do like how big the reservoir is on the 4 Runner MC
