Has anyone heard of this organisation?

Basically, it allows individuals to participate in motorsport events for a reduced price. You pay $103 a year for a CAMS Level 2S license, and $75 for a session at Mallala in Super Sprint events.

The catch is that you have to be a member of an affiliated club. I see it as a way of enabling small car clubs to allow their members to enter events if they cannot afford the financial burden.

Maybe it's time to bring the SA MR2 club back :)

I haven't heard of it but track days and the like sounds great. I'm not sure on exactly how the SA MR2 Club will be revived, but I think we should all have a meeting to discuss this soon.

"Smeetsie" is the person who knows about this club. I think he has been/was involved with it for many years. I'm not sure if he still frequents these forums, but he does work next door to me... and I would be happy to ask him for some info

The inaugural general meeting, I mean.
I'll be free any time after July 1  to attend such a meeting. Not sure about others, so we should all work out a date that suits all people who wish to attend.

Ooh this could be a long, time consuming and painful path this is leading down. By all means if you guys want to make this happen it'd be great.

Otherwise why not just join an already established and affiliated club like the CCCSA or Touge Alliance?
