Thanks to all who came to the June meet, it was a great day out!
        
This will be a nice drive to Strathalbyn for lunch (Victoria Hotel?), through the hills. This should be occurring on this Sunday the 8th of July.
 
Meeting point: Big W carpark, Goodwood Road, Cumberland Park.
 

 
Time: 10:00 AM for 10:30 AM departure.

Are we still going to be sticking with the routine of every 2nd sunday to keep it the same each month?

Unfortunately i wont be at the next one either as i will be up in rockhampton...

Yeah so it that case it'll be the 8th and since the Collingrove Hillclimb is on again for the 14/15th then it's ideal.
Shame you wont be back for it.

I've never been to Strathalbyn. What's there in respects to grub?

It's not bad at all, you have the Victoria Hotel that has a log fire and there are at least 2 decent cafes/bakery's as well. Getting there though, through Echunga and Macclesfield is half the fun :)
 

I've been as far as Macclesfield while following the Classic Adelaide rally. The roads were not bad at all but I drove conservatively (s13 with crap tyres)

that seems like it'll work fine.

I'm always keen on the Adelaide hills runs :P
Hopefully i would have at least fixed one issue with my car by then. Maybe brake pads. 

Sound like a good run, count me in for now.  I will try and have my 2 on the road, see how we go. What time are we looking at meeting?

I'm thinking meet centrally for this - probably from Big W carpark, Cumberland Park, about 10AM ish.
 
Take the back roads up past Windy Point for a look, through Crafers, then on to Strathalbyn Rd though Mylor, Echunga and Macclesfield.
 

What about turning off at Sturt Valley Road and going through Mt Bold Rd? Longer, but Sturt Valley road is killlerrr :)
