i notice your rear strut bar is missing,is this because it interferes with the PWR IC

No its normally there. At that point Id just changed the valvecover. There is about a fingers gap at the bottom and the top of the IC so yes its tight but does fit well.

Made a trip to the wreakers today and this is what I got, ST165 mani, TB and fuel rail(not that I'll need them), and a heap of brackets and bolts. All for $35.
