Do they come with any kind of warranty?

Yeah I would give 6-months on any part failure. Might check with factory if I can offer 12, but 6 for sure.

Ok I just finished bench testing it reading from the wideband controller I plan to bundle with them at a later date, response rate was bloody great, compared with the race dash and a standalone AFR gauge, it responds really quickly, would say just as good as my innovate mtx-l gauge, so that was nice to see.

Also tested the map sensor response, equally as impressive as the AFR reading.

Hey mate, any chance you can provide the dimensions for the whole display unit and also the OLED screen dimensions?

Gauge: 9.64cm wide, 6.15cm high
Screen: 5.18cm wide, 2.67cm high

When are you going to do the bundle with the wideband and how much? Might be the easier way for me to do it.

Once I have completed testing of these units and I am happy with everything I will be ordering the widebands. The bundle should be going for around $385 to $395, depends on the AUD and shipping costs etc. Can’t give an ETA on widebands right now, but within the next two weeks I will have a better idea.

The widebands are a really good kit as well, uses bosch 4.9 sensors.

There is a couple of things I learned today with the gauges I want to see if I can get sorted. As of right now it displays volt, AFR, boost, fuel pressure and EGT on the first screen. There is no way to change that, oil pressure, oil temp and water temp are on a second menu you can select.

I want to see if they can make a firmware change where it’s possible to select what displays on menu screen one. If not, I have a mate I can send to which can dump the firmware and see if we can write a custom firmware for them so we can make it so people can change what it displays on each different menu.

The way they are setup now is not a deal breaker, there is the alarm setup so if you are on menu 1 and can’t see oil and water temp if they get hot an alarm will go off. But I would really like it so people could have boost, afr, oil & water temp, oil pressure and EGT on a single screen.

Overall though, from the testing I did today, I am really impressed. The AFR and Boost refresh rates are terrific.

Re hacking the firmware, depends if they encrypted it :( It would be really nice if they allowed it to be changed... just need the specs of the MCU and in-circuit programming specs would be helpful

If it is possible to modify the first screen to what you've written I'd definitely buy one.

Had a good chat with them yesterday, seems the things I am after are already in the works. So no need for me to try and play with the firmware myself. :)

Aaron Knight will give me **** about this, but I really like my pressure gauges to be in PSI and not KPA. As of right now the only options are Celsius & KPA or Fahrenheit & PSI, made the suggestion to them yesterday to have Celsius and PSI as an option, they hadn’t thought about it and thought it was a good idea, so will most likely get implemented.

Yep this is going to happen, but the new unit is around 3 months away. So I am just going to get these samples into people’s car’s and give them a good test, Johnny already has one and Fred is popping around today to take a look. Once I am happy with everything I will pre-order in a bunch of the wideband kits to be ready for when the new version of the gauge lands.

Only thing I don’t know for sure right now is if there will be an increase in the cost for the newer model, I imagine there will be, but can’t see it being a whole lot. Also willing to bet the AUD takes a dive between now and then. Still, even with a lower AUD and increase in gauge cost, I would still aim for around $395 to $425 with gauge and wideband, that’s still pretty bloody good considering widebands alone are around $299+

Will be also selling the gauges separate to the widebands as well, for people that already have a wideband, or have a stock ECU with narrowband which the gauge also supports.

Let me know once they have made the changes to the first screen and are running Psi and Celsius and I'll grab one off you.
