Our November run is kindly being organised by long time club member John Coombs. This will be a full day run, incorporating some of the roads used during the 2009 MR2 Nationals, heading out to Bathurst and the legendary Mount Panorama.
 
Update:
This is a full day run with Laps of Mount Panorama and 1hr lunch a Rockly Hotel, heading through some of the quiet back roads of Windsor, Oberon, Mount Victoria towards Rockly and Bathurst and back to Windsor.

Start time: 8:00am for a 8:30am departure

What is required: Full Tank of Petrol
Cash for lunch
and finally some spirited driving to keep up with our long time club member!!!

Should be right for this one. missed doing the Reccy run yesterday.

Recce run last Thursday and route finalised. The event is mainly for those that like driving on deserted roads (around 400 kms) and includes laps of Mt Panorama. The MR2 Owners Club should be posting the full details shortly.

It looks like next Sunday's Classic Bathurst Run held by the MR2 Owners Club is shaping up to be an exciting drive on some fabulous roads around Bathurst and Oberon and a few laps around "The Mountain". Let us know if you are intending to come so that I can let the pub at Rockley know numbers for lunch. I have more than a dozen let me know so far. Please be at McDonalds McGraths Hill by 8:15 for the drivers' briefing and have a full tank of fuel for an 8:30 start.
 

I grew up riding on all these roads around Rockley, Bathurst and Oberon they were my main training roads when I was a competitive cyclist so know them like the back of my hand, some nice driving roads out there should be a very nice day and am looking forward to it.
