Great - I don't know if you guys have been there before, but I don't think you will be disappointed. I haven't tried the schnitties there yet but I hear they're awesome.

Now anyone want to suggest a route/destination for a cruise in the arvo? Hills? beach? both?

I'm happy to create a route for this run.

Do we want to do an afternoon drive before dinner or a nightime blast after?

Personally I'd prefer to do the nighttime run. Just watch your beers at dinner.

If you could do that it would be great.
I'm cool with either, but some might prefer day time if they don't know the roads etc.
I'd probably prefer before, as I'd rather be zero if going in this hills etc.

Agreed on 0.00 BAC for hills runs. When I said watch the beers I guess what I really meant was 'watch others drink beers'.

An afternoon hills run will have quite a bit of traffic. I'd suggest a shorter route to compensate, maybe just from our southern meeting point to Clarendon and return. Or Hahndorf and return.

How does this look? It's a pretty normal north/south run. If we depart Newton at ~4pm we'll be at the Earl 6:30pm - 7:00pm for dinner.

I figure if we start north and finish south then this'll work out better for everyone.

Im all up for this.  I've been to Earl of Leicester a few times now and for those who havent had one (I mean a schnitty) mate they are huge... highly recommend!  On the other note, I would much prefer a run after the meal, cooler, no to very little traffic, etc  - but happy to go with the majority if happens in the arvo.

Looks good. That's always fun going through Lobey.
