This is the go/meet for Saturday 18th August, once the guys have returned from WTA in Sydney.

Meeting Times - At the shopping centre cnr Gorge rd  Newton rd, meet at 3:30pm and aim to leave at 4:00pm
                        - Aim to get to Earl of Leicester, 85 Leicester Street  Parkside  by 6:00 - 6:30pm for dinner and drinks

Can I chime in and say that at this stage there is only 3 of us at the moment, going to WTAC. I'm sure we can do the meet on the 19th instead, that way no one misses out ? :D

I am more then happy to do that, but its breaking the rule we made at the start of the year regarding to the meets being every 2nd weekend of the month.
 
However if people are happy to do that ill add that to the list of options..

So now we'll see what the people have to say in the polls... :)

Im all for having rules and sticking too them but at the end of the day its about getting as many of us together at the one time that makes these monthly meets all worth the while.  Not being around when the rule was agreed on I would suggest it remains but is subject to change on the odd occassion eg - a situation or event arises (like the current in discussion).  Im sure all would agree?

Where's the option for both weekends? :P LOL

Mike - We did agree to have the meets on the "second Sunday of every month". Now I had to bend the rule back in May, as Mother's Day fell on that Sunday, so I made the meet on the Saturday instead. So I think there needs to some degree of flexibility since we are still only a relatively small group, but others might not agree. 
 
EssDub - Sorry only 1 meet per month. Of course there are always other ad hoc activities in between. :)
 

Being one of the guys heading over for WTAC I'm all for pushing the meet back a week. Especially since I may have my SW20 for this one.
 
I think what's most important is that the meets happen consistently each month.

I have stated many times before that I prefer a structured organisation type of thing with regular dates. We will all have things on that dictate our availability for these times. In trying to grow a club (if that is what we are aiming at, which I think we are with business cards etc) it is much easier to get new ppl along by saying things such as "we meet on the 2nd sunday of every month".
I have never said that we could only have 1 activity per month..... I have just stated that we should have 1 regular meet per month at regular times.
I would love to do both. Our regular meeting + the 18th/19th as a WTAC review night with the guys that do go giving us that could not go a run down of the event and lots of photos and video footage shown.

Ok so we shall do both? I am happy with that, more of a catch up kind of thing on the 18/19th if thats ok? And still try and have a main one on the 11th?
