Small updates, not much has changed as I haven't found time to install a few goodies I have lying around

Removed the hideous Bunnings-special foggies. I have wanted to do this since I purchased the car but never got around to it. Much happier with the cleaner look but I'm going to have to look at getting the front bumper painted soon, it's chipping away more and more every wash..

I decided to order one of MR2 Heaven's carbon fibre intakes with matching high-flow K&N pod filter. I've also fitted a BOV delete plate - I know this is a controversial topic however I'm a believer that off-throttle surge is harmless

Main reason for the delete is that it was an extra $50 (I think) and my factory BOV has been leaking for the past 6+ months - at one point the car wouldn't build any boost and I had been constantly wiggling and re-seating it to create a seal which would last for a short time

Intake noise is much flutter with a gaudy flutter to suit. Very immature but I'm going to let myself enjoy it for a while!

The ST185 GT4 Celica with the same engine didn't have a BOV.

Exactly right. I think a lot of people also don't realise that with the Gen 3 MAP sensor it can drive fine whereas a lot of people that BOV-delete are still running a MAF sensor which causes them to have idle issues, etc.

Front bumper is looking tidy without the foggies. What's on the cards next?

Mostly preventative maintenance & serviceable items as she's getting a bit old. In no particular order, I need to look at replacing radiator hoses, fuel filter, suspension bushings, springs & shocks, cable shifter bushings, paint work

Hoping to get my motorbike license soon which means I can work on the MR2 without stressing over having it "ready for work the next day"
