Hi everyone

I'm about to replace all the hoses on my 2 and the complete hose kit just arrived the other day so before I do them I want to do give the cooling system a flush. I bought a bottle of Nulon Coolant Flush but I'm not sure if I am supposed to just add it to the existing coolant that's in the system now or drop that and flush it combined with water?
Has anyone else here used a coolant flush previously and if so did you just add it to the coolant you were about to drain?

Thanks for any input guys.

Drain the existing coolant, put in tap water or demineralised water if you're picky (I am), stop half way and add the Nulon flush and then add water till full. Drive around between 20-30mins (bottle says no more than 40min), drain the crap and repeat once more if still dirty. If it's still dirty after 2nd time it's just a matter of changing the coolant over course of few times a year for the clean freaks.

Thanks, I ended up doing that then have stripped the car of all hoses and started replacing them all. Tomorrow I hope to finish replacing all the new hoses and then I plan to do another coolant flush and if it comes up clean enough then fill up the new coolant.
