So I finally bought some rims (need to get moving on this in case my existing tyre decides to blow) and I have purchased a pair of toyo T1R's 225/45/16 for the rear. So now I am after a matching pair for the front around 205/45/16. By matching I mean performance wise, I don't need exactly T1R's. What would be suitable companions for these rear tyres up front? (something around the $150 mark each).

Thanks guys!

Kumho ku31, bridgestone re001 or re002, Dunlop sport maxx, Yokohama s drive. Call up a few places to check for your size and compare prices.

Ummm... What's wrong with getting 205/45/16 T1R's?  They'll match the T1R 225/45/16 rear's perfectly.

Well the fact they don't make them in that size is a bit of an issue...

Well since I have that size T1R's on the front of my car, aliens must have stolen the rest of Toyo's stock!

EDIT: Don't blame the aliens. They are available.

Hummm They're more than I paid for the rears! Any ideas where they're the cheapest?

I can source some Federal 595 RSR's for a similar price to the T1R's for the front. Would this be a better option?

No. Matching front and rear tires are always a better option.
