I'll definetly post pics and share my thoughts. I can't afford most of the things i want, so I'm keeping myself happy doing the little upgrades atm. It's amazing how much better the gearshift feels with just the DeltaV bearing upgrade cosidering the original bushes weren't excessively worn. All the little things seem to really improve the driving experience.

I only have the bearing upgrade.... you may have talked me into buying the DeltaV ones.

After the last track day at Mallala my front pads were stuffed.
The inside pad still had plenty on it, but the outside left pad was down to the metal. Is this common?
I might have to check the calipers movement.
Nice new QFM A1RM pads are ready to go in, and the discs have been machined :)

Good to hear the DeltaV upgrade was a success mate.  Those brake pads should not wear like that.  Check the sliders for grease and smooth surface.  No pitting or wear.
Cheers.

Rick, did u have the little wire spreaders attached on the pads? As doug stated, they shouldn't wear like that.

Sounds like your sliding calliper isn't sliding as per what @falcon said

As suspected, the sliding calipers weren't... the top slide bolt was seized. The rubber boot seems ok, but wasn't seated correctly and allowed dirt and water in. I gave everything a good clean and reassembled it with new high temp brake grease as per the bgb. Installed new pads and machined disks, so should all be good now...

Good to see your still hitting it hard Rick! I also found out my caliper sliding mechanism wasn't working after MTC 2014, brake pedal always felt a bit off
