Hi all, I had the under car cooling pipes crap out due to rust and have now discovered the cancer has spread to other components in my cooling system. I'm chasing the heater hoses and rad hoses to complete the restoration of my cooling system but my mate who is doing the work recons Toyota and Bursons have turned him away on supplying the hoses.  It seems if you need hoses for an sw20, they are there in abundance. It's very frustrating for me and my mechanic. Does any one have an idea that would lead to me getting hold of new or if not good used ones?  Any help would be much appreciated!

Well for myself I did a combination of taking the old hose into a place like supercheap where you can compare shapes - then get something that works when you cut the ends off.

For larger bits (like for me the main line from the oil cooler to the engine) I got the stainless stuff.  Just bend it to shape and it stays there.  Something like this:  http://www.ebay.com.au/it...mp;hash=item3f17f58132

Note tha I got a couple from different suppliers and one set had plastic(!) end covers instead of SS.

Hello,          I have a set(or two) of radiator and heater hoses and the metal pipework that goes underneath car. Also radiators as well. Also have the metal ones from engine bay(the ones with oil cooler lines).
All hoses were from crashed/damaged AW11's but they were drivable until I wrecked them out.
Hoses etc are not new but all appear to be in working condition, which is why I have kept them for spares.
Send me a PM if your interested.Parts are near Brisbane Qld but can send by post/courier.
                         Thank you....skip.

I managed to pick up some good second hand ones. My local dealer told me It'd be a month or more to secure all the hoses new. Got all of them for 80 bucks from a breaker in the uk.

Hi Keith,

I've got all the cooling hoses but no dice on the heater hoses.  I tried Lithia and Cleveland.  Where did you get yours or did you get the last ones on the planet?

Cheers
Peter

Can you get all the heater hoses for an AW11 (RHD)?  The Toyota dealers say they are no longer available.

No I haven't yet.  I'll give them a try and post my findings.
