Oh ok that makes sense. I'll double check tomorrow but I was told 60 when i asked him what its suposed to be at. But it did appear lower when I glanced at it today

Yeh, thats what iwas asking. Base pressure is 40psi approx.

dunno if the fuel pump relay or assoc wiring/ecu programming is the cuase of all issues, like if the relay/wiring is cuasing pump to stop sometimes which in turn stalls motor etc.

Its always a hard balancing act trying to get your car back from mechs when theyve had ample time and are past their orig eta for completion, but not hurry them too much that they cut corners.

I didn't drive anywhere today but started it up tonight so its been sitting for more than 24 hours and let it run for 5 min it started up perfect kept the revs up for only a couple seconds and it didn't try and die or anything. The FPR was reading 58 when I started it and maybe went down to about 57 after 5 min

So is this too high then?

If you could get a wire at or near the +ve terminal of the fuel pump and run it back to the cabin, put a small lamp in line and maybe a switch before earth (steering column etc), you would have an indicator of whether the fuel pump is still powered when the fault occurs. Might narrow the field..

That's a good idea. Ill be calling the shop tomorrow so we will see what they say.
Also after researching sard FPR I believe mine is a fake. Seeing as it looks just like the 20-30 dollar ones on eBay with the gauge on it. Could the gauge be dodgy then and be reading incorrectly?

Possibly dodgy fpr.

But yes, no reason to run such high fuel pressure, it sometimes done to stretch the abilities of the injectors. But with your 800cc injs your good for 400rwhp afaik.

Is your fpr connected with a vac line to manifold to increase pressure with boost?

Quick q. What turbo and power are you making?

I'll have to check on that with the vaccume line.
Ct20b turbo and If I remember correctly 225kw (waiting on the guy to email the dyno sheet should have it tomorrow)

Here I just ran outside and took a photo of the FPR.
