pistons not usable I have been instructed ( seems something small  once went through the engine ) but the crankshaft  and forged eagle rods are okay

What condition is the head in? Was there any issues whilst it was on the engine?

I'm advised it was fine - nothing a rebuild could not take care of
 
the issue with the engine was my block
