Hey all, first time MR2 owner looking for some info... i bought a 1991 sw20 gt a few months back with a blown engine very cheap, i thought i would have a go at fixing it all up and use it for my daily. I fully rebuilt the engine a few weeks back and put it all back together and stupidly didnt even look at the gearbox, after driving it out of my drive way no 3rd gear, it would feel right on the shifter but as soon as you release the clutch it just grinds. after a little while 4th started doing it too. so i just pulled the box back out and took it into my old man for him to look at rebuilding it (does this work with truck boxes for a living) we soon found the problem and all the busted parts, firstly i need to find a way to get the toyota part numbers... any idea how to do this?  secondly we are unsure where we can get the parts from any help would be appreciated (i am too scared to call toyota if they are anything like mitsubishi with their import pricing from japan)

Thanks!!

we keep all the commonly needed gearbox parts on the shelf. I really need the model & frame details off Toyota build plate of the car the gearbox came from to be 100% sure of parts. there are lots of changes in those E code boxes. we fix them all the time.
