My e420c was about $1000 including the loom. The current model (420d) is a little more so it'll probably work out at around $1050 http://adaptronic.com.au/products/e420d.html. You can fit the fidanza without having to balance anything else.

Well he's a mechanic and I'm not so you'd best use your own judgement. But yes I am sure.

If you get the internals balanced with the flywheel, you need to index the flywheel so it goes back onto the car in the EXACT same position every time, otherwise it will be out of balance. Considering from factory they come with enough balancing to avoid deathly vibrations, I'd focus my money and efforts on other things :) (Like cams...)

money is no concern, im getting the 1mz rebuilt/reconditioned from the ground up im just looking for opinons. also where would i be able to find cams for the 1mz? i heard you can use the 2mz cams if you have a non vvti 1mz.

also can anyone tell me there experiences with the fidanza flywheel? and do i use 4age arp flywheel bolts to attach the fidanza onto the 1mz ?

If money's no concern then you should do a 2GR swap. If you're going to pay someone to rebuild your 1MZ then you'll be out of pocket for a similar expense.

As for the flywheel? I used the original bolts with my Fidanza. 2MZ cams are not easy to find and give a very modest performance increase. I don't know of any off the shelf 1MZ performance cams. You're probably better off looking at a forced induction setup if you want more power out of your 1MZ. But again you'll spend the same money or less and get more power if you fit a 2GR.

How much is a 2gr looking at ? And who can do it properly ? There's not much informations about the aus aurion looming, I'ves tried doing resource, but I always came up flat.

I don't even think Australia has the 2mz motor. And in a P plate so no turbo, that's why my current motor is going out.

My current set up in the 3sgte is gt2806r, 570 injectors, 264 cams, greddy emanage ecu and everything is 3' starting from the dump pipe.

You realise that that you still won't be doing this legally even though you're going non-turbo? As far as I know you can't drive a vehicle that requires an engineers certificate for modifications performed whilst you're on your P license. If you get pulled over by a policeman that knows their cars you'll still be done, just like you'd be done if you were caught driving a turbo.

FYI my vehicle won't be getting certified, aftermarket ECU rules that out. I don't mind running the gauntlet when the car is not a daily driver and living in Adelaide means no inspections once the car's registered.

As for a good place to do the swap for you? Well that depends on where you live.
