as u now know i purchased 98 gt one of the remotes keyless isnt working changed the batteries but the previous owner seems to to think its the pad,is there anywere in melbourne were i can get it fixed spoke to someone at toyota.....they dont make them anymore thanx

I get a lot of remotes that need some re-soldering and a clean of the PCB to get them working again, if you wanted to send it to SA I can have a look at it for you.
 
Is the remote part of the key or separate?
