Will look into compression test, i will take a photo when i get home the sarvo of engine bay and the screwed up front lip, for 22 years old, she's still nice, besides bent name plate.
Leads look great, hoses are a bit iffy but okay for the moment.
Me and my father both looked over the electrics, but that is not our strong point, sat there scratching, going what if its this, or WHATS THAT?????

BTW, What spoilers do you guys like. without drilling to many holes all over the place.

Gatesys SW20
I'd be more worried about it running ATM then a spoiler
But go rev5 or just got rev2 far far cheaper whatever it's your car you should be happy with it not what everyone else thinks

Id double check grounds
And distributor connections

Also anything thing could be worth checking timing might be extremely retarded
Timing lights aren't to expensive

I WOULD TRY THE DIAGNOSTICS TEST FIRST
see what error codes you get and come back with a report
search the forum for how to do the diagnostic tests it has been covered before
also if the car has an afm see if its connected properly
if you havent dealt with removing an AFM before i wouldnt recommend tryign to remove it before learning how to do so the right way (many people have damaged the plugs doing it the wrong way and the only way out is getting a new or second hand one)

good luck

cheers

Correct me if I'm wrong but if the engine light isn't coming on I dunno if the diagnostic with come up with any codes...from my experience anyways.
Like Gatesys said worry about the mechanics first, there's no use for a spoiler if the car doesn't run haha. But if you must know, rev 3, 4, 5 spoilers would have less holes as it mounts directly on the boot. Basically you want the ONE piece spoilers

That is true
You may need to take it to someone who can pull codes direct from the ecu if there are even any to pull

Gatesys, the guy who owned it before me had Standard QLD plates, im from Townsville.

Yep im thinking engine diagnostic.
im sure if anyone of you guys had a look in the engine bay, you would be shocked at how clean and semi new everything is.
138 thousand is not alot considering its age.

But here are some picks.

Oh ok not the car

Low kms is good but also bad because if it was barley driven
Could have been barley looked after as we'll do you know how many owners have had it log books etc
Also low kms could mean barley used so if it had sat for a while mr2s have a tendency to do a head gasket for that reason alone.

But see how you go with trying to get her to fire :)
