Yeh that's weird the only reason I can think of is that gen 2/3 was a big change from gen 1 and gen 4 was a big change from gen 2/3.
Also since no one's mentioned, my incentive for copper is that apparently it provides better spark only downside is the frequency of replacement but we're all about performance here ;)

I went into Toyota spare parts asking for gasket kit....apparently they cant search there system by make and year. they need engine number and 27 other things before they go "Found it, you need one of these"

Remeber 1990 MR2 N/A (i gotta get up on the 3S, gen2/3, 3SGE etc,)
So did a browse and found these 2.
http://www.ebay.com.au/it...4703981#ht_1512wt_1397  (if it fits?)
Not sure i need all that or just...

For parts number searching this website will be your best friend
http://www.toyodiy.com/
1990 MR2 so you need GEN 2 (89-93, early 94 Aus models)
Unless you wanna take out the head gasket which is lots of work, valve cover gasket is fine. Can get from eBay or Road and Track which is a vendor here (check home page), they stock heaps of quality parts for our cars at competitive prices.

Yeah, Road and Track are good because you can phone them about getting the correct part, but also don't forget Lithia Toyota Parts in the US.
They also have great prices and service, but make sure you get the correct part number from Toyodiy before going to their website.

They won't have everything you may need because some of the US models are different, but you will find that they stock a surprising amount of stuff to fit our cars here in AUS.

There it is, the new car. :)
Roof is sunburnt will get it resprayed, body kit may be refitted with a border kit and slim line snorkels. (current standard kit is beat up in a few spots)
interior is in great shape, tho some of the lining is flapping around (will glue that back)
I think it was lowered he didn't say, but i want to raise it a bit, because it scrapes already (i don't know why people do that.)
And a wing i think i want a wing back on there. OEM or Rev-5 i dont know i will get a vote from my brother on that 1.
Quick question: whats the knob above the seat belt re-tractor. (it says pull)

That looks great! Can't see the sun damage on the roof in these pictures, but otherwise the paint looks great. It's definitely lowered. It's already had the jdm front indicators installed which is nice. That could be an interesting exhaust under there, is it a single outlet?

Since it's already had the wing mounting holes covered over I think you'd be best off going with a rev 5 wing. You'd have to re-drill some holes on the rear panels to refit the OEM wing.

The knob is to adjust the height of the seatbelt. Just pull on it and you can move the upper fixture up and down.

Interesting, I'm not seeing any holes on the boot lid, maybe it got painted over? Do you have power windows?
Rev 5 wing looks pretty cool but late model rear lights and late model front lip really has to go with it IMO. But I like the look of Rev 3+ as well
Rare hardtops is now a myth lol, well it's only rare in the US I guess

The exhaust is dual outlet, there large but not over the top. i wont change them.
and im thinking the Rev-5 is going to be the option anyway.

i couldn't c any holes in the lid either, think it s a whole new lid. even the antenna, isnt that supposed to sit on the right?
and yeah i got power windows, and a new horn :)

Another quick thing, the plastic lining under the front bumper has been ripped, most probably because it been lowered.
Can you replace that? or does it require a new bumper?
Thinking of leaving the body stock, and just adding the wing. (Just not a fan of the front fender)
