Hry guys im new here. I bought a unlicensed aw11 with a yellow sticker . All I need to pass pits not is stock suspension(coilovers). I was wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone selling a full set.

Hi Asian,
Welcome to the forum.
I don't know anything much about an AW11, (have an SW20), but I reckon you need to be more specific about the parts that you need. There are lots of components, which go together to form your "suspension".
The web site www.toyodiy.com should give you exploded views & part numbers.
Maybe you need to visit a Suspension repairer, (even Pedders or similar), to work out what you really need.
Good Luck.

AW11 doesn't have coil overs? It has a shock insert. The spring sits on a collar which is welded to the insert housing. Peter is correct, which part of this do you need? Did the car have coil overs and you need to put the whole lot back in? Or are the shocks dead and you need stock shock inserts?

I looked at the site peter suggested and the suspension looks like any normal suspension for a car... ?

Yeah the suspension, as good as it is, is nothing flash; just normal strut, shock insert and coil spring on the collar. If they wont license it with the coil overs then you will indeed need the factory struts, inserts and springs. Providing the mounts have not been modified to suit the coil overs?

The next question is whether you have an pre 85 or 85-89 AW11 as the suspension is not interchangeable.

Finally do you want to keep the coil overs or are you interested in a trade? I may know someone who is interested if that is the case.

I would have an 89 aw11. Umm the coilovers are in decent nic but the rear left damper adjustable slot had been rounded by rhe previous owner.

Damn you guys are so helpful :)

What is your location? A guy south of Sydney was wrecking an 87 that had its full suspension left when I went to buy some parts from it.
