Don't have a favourite mech, unfortunately... Most of the work done to my car was by me, and the only other person to work on it is still on holidays...
An update on the brakes situation. I rebuilt the offending caliper (passenger-rear), and now there's no rub and the wheel goes sweet... NOW the drivers-side rear is pretty much locked. I'm totally stumped, and unless someone knows exactly what's happened and how to fix it within the next 2 days, I'm gonna have to pull out.
Having tested it last Saturday, it was jacked up and started in gear. Both wheels spun (keeping in mind I'm still running the stock Gen 2 open dif), but you could hear the rub from the passenger side, and a seized caliper was deduced from there.
Once the caliper was rebuild, the same test was conducted, and now the passenger-side spins awesome and drivers wasn't moving at all...
If anyone has ideas, let me know. This is literally the only thing stopping me from going now.
